Excellent Host

Robert was an excellent host. He proactively reached out prior to our stay to make sure we had all of the information we needed to plan for our trip. He was also very quick to respond to any needs or questions that we had while at the cabin. The cabin itself was very clean. We loved the newly renovated kitchen and all of the many thoughtful touches throughout the house. The great game room and yard also helped to keep the kids happily occupied.

We Loved Every Second There

We had an amazing 5 days at Robert's place! So extremely beautiful cabin with really nice yard to play games with the kids and we enjoyed the fire pit at night with the kids. All the lil touches in the cabin were so cute we had everything we needed for our family meals. Well kept and very clean close to some amazing places that he suggested for us to experience as a family. He helped us out so much response very quick. We can definitely say we will refer people to this beautiful cabin with amazing hosts thank you for the hospitality we loved every second there.

Nice to just relax in the woods!

This cabin in the woods was top notch! I am hesitant to post a glowing review since I want to come back again soon. It had everything the Bell family listed on their amenities and then some! It is within 10 minutes of Lyons reservoir down a gravel road for access to excellent fishing for the whole family. Even my wife had a blast! Super fun place to stay! Thanks again for your quick responses to any questions we had about our stay. Robert was a wonderful host!

A Lovely Space

A lovey space with decorative touches and thoughtful amenities. Close to great hiking and cute shops. On a rainy day we chose to nestle in because the cabin is so comfortable and pretty. A great retreat from busy life. Try it!

We Had A Great Time

We had a great time! The cabin is very cozy and has some cute touches to make you feel welcome! Very well kept up and my family had a nice relaxing time together. Even with the weather causing some issues the hosts were so quick to help and took good care of us during our stay. We definitely recommend staying here! We enjoyed playing in the snow but if it was not snowing the outside fire pit and picnic area would have been great to enjoy an outside dinner!

They put a lot of thought into the place

This property is spacious, clean and cozy. It's apparent that the owners have put a lot of thought into what makes a comfortable place for visitors. We felt welcome to enjoy ourselves, whether it was outside, near the fire pit and playing corn hole or it was indoors, in the living room and kitchen where we read books, played games and prepared meals. This is a cozy cabin, and it has all the comforts of a modern home. The s'mores welcome package and the whimsical items in the home are nice touches by the owners. We would definitely stay here again!

Best Place I have Ever Stayed

We had an amazing time. The place is perfect with everything you need to hang out in the mountains. The kitcken is top notch, the decor is perfect, and the outdoor area has everything you need to enjoy your day outside. We will be booking this place again.

Quick Of Season Trip

Quick off season, mid week trip to Dogwood Digs was perfect! Weather for Feb. was great and allowed for some good day hiking (lots of nearby options for different levels). Since it was a weekday, there was not a lot of foot traffic on the trails. We stayed in mainly, and enjoyed use of the newly updated kitchen. Coffee is provided, but we did make a quick stop at Alicia's Sugar Shack for coffee and a snack after being out for the day. Robert and Shelly were very responsive with any questions that came up. All in all, a great (relaxing) couple of days away from home.
